Lord Belial es una banda formada en el año de 1992 en Suiza.

Este grupo toca un estilo de black metal muy agresivo, veloz y blasfemo al mismo tiempo que incorpora a su música elementos mas melódicos como el uso de instrumentos distintos a los habituales en el heavy metal, así como cambios de voces y en algunos discos podremos escuchar muy esporadicamente voces limpias.

Podriamos dividir a esta banda en dos etapas, que incluso se pueden observar por el cambio de su logo: La primera y mi favorita es desde el disco "Kiss The Goat" hasta " The Seal Of Belial" esta es la epoca mas pesada de la banda, aqui encontraremos verdaderas joyas del Black Metal como por ejemplo "Angelgrinder" y "Unholy Crusade" que los recomiendo ampliamente para todos los fans de este genero del metal.

Hay una brutalidad musical y lirica impresionante en los discos de esta etapa, pero al mismo tiempo hay pasajes melodicos maravillosos dentro de ellos y riffs de guitarra que no solo apuestan por ser veloces y destructivos si no que tratan de crear melodias dentro de toda la agresividad.

Pasando a la segunda etapa, igual encontraremos Black Metal sumamente bien realizado pero menos agresivo que en los anteriores discos, no podría decir que son discos de Melodic Black Metal pero si están ligeramente mas orientados a esa dirección así como a tratar de crear atmósferas de obscuridad depresiva en lugar de la velocidad frenetica anterior.
Como sea son albums tambien muy buenos que siguen fieles a la escena y se puede entender las ganas de esta banda por querer cambiar un poco despues de los años que llevan.

En conclusion Lord Belial es una banda genial, tiene en su discografia clasicos del black metal que no se pueden perder las personas que les agrade este genero.

SANGRE AZUL "OBSESION" (1987)

Fueron los primeros meses de 1982 los que vieron en acción por primera vez a Sangre Azul, por aquel entonces la banda hacia versiones de otros grupos. Luego vino el primer cambio con la llegada de Julio Díaz al Bajo (ex-Mazo y ex-Santa). Se presentan al concurso Villa de Madrid en su octava edición, corría el año 1985 y la formación del grupo era: José Castañosa (voz), Carlos Raya y J.A. Martin (guitarras), Julio Díaz (bajo) y Luís Ortega (batería). Una edición bastante fuerte ya que había mucha calidad en el concurso pero aun así llegan a la final que se celebro en el campo de fútbol Román Valero del distrito de Usera y con una actuación majestuosa logran alzarse con la victoria, ese día vio el nacimiento de lo que mas adelante seria una de las mejores bandas de rock que se recuerdan a día de hoy.

La consecución del primer premio les llevo a la grabación de un L.P con Fonomusic, el cual compartirían con las otras dos bandas finalistas del villa de Madrid que fueron, Esfinge y Furia Animal. Ellos con 4 temas y las otras bandas con 2 cada una. Antes de este lanzamiento el cual no gusto nada a la banda, grabaron con la misma compañía un maxi-single en el mismo año y con los mismo temas además de 1 video-clip. Ese Maxi llevaría el titulo de Sangre Azul y es a día de hoy el primer documento sonoro oficial de la banda, antes incluso que el recopilatorio del villa de Madrid. Los temas que salieron en ambos lanzamientos fueron: El Rey de la Ciudad / Chicas, Whiky y rock and roll / Todo mi mundo eres tú y Rock and roll es libertad.

Poco después abandona el grupo José Castañosa y es sustituido por Tony a la voz. Ya con esta formación hablan con Javier Gálvez para que fuera su manager y empezaron ha hacer directos por todo Madrid.

En el año 1987 se meten en los estudios Mediterráneo de Ibiza para grabar el que seria su primer gran álbum (Obsesión) para la compañía Hispavox, con Dennis Herman como ingeniero de sonido y Dario McBryan como productor. Con Obsesión empiezan una carrera imparable la cual les lleva hacer giras por toda España, incluso llegando a tocar en algún festival.

Un año después vuelven a los mediterráneo estudios para grabar su segundo álbum ( Cuerpo a Cuerpo), con el mismo equipo técnico que grabo el primer álbum y acompañando a la realización Steve Taylor. Con este álbum definitivamente Sangre Azul se convierten en todo un acontecimiento dentro del panorama del Rock en España. Temas como Cuerpo a Cuerpo, Dueño y Señor o Mil y una Noches hacen del álbum una evolución a nivel musical que muy pocos grupos en aquel entonces seguían.

Pero no todo era un camino de rosas y cuando nadie se lo esperaba los fans del grupo ven como uno de los músicos que formaron la banda abandona el barco J.A.Martin deja la guitarra. Según el grupo, se necesitaba que todos sus miembros estuvieran al 100% en el proyecto y el guitarrista decidió abandonar ya que no podía seguir este ritmo. En este punto Sangre Azul mete en sus filas a un joven guitarrista de Madrid llamado Juanjo Melero que procedía de Marshall Monroe.

El grupo salta el charco y hace sus primeros conciertos en Sudamérica con una gran acogida por aquellas tierras, pero vuelven pronto para volver a encerrarse en los estudios de grabación que tantos éxitos les estaban dando y con el mismo equipo técnico y ya con nuevo guitarrista graban el que seria su ultimo álbum ( El Silencio de la Noche). Estábamos ante el mejor álbum de Sangre Azul, y una gira por toda España y Sudamérica, incluyendo algunos conciertos en Francia.

Cuando el grupo se encontraba en lo mas alto, nos llegó la noticia que el grupo se disolvía, según rumores, algunos de sus miembros querían ir por un sonido y otros por otro distinto, aparte la compañía no vio los resultados que se esperaban con El Silencio de la noche. Mucho se ha hablado de la desaparición de Sangre Azul, pero eso es algo que solo ellos saben a que fue debido.
